Gate on an angled wall

Gate on an angled wall

A gate can be hung on an angled wall with no adverse effects as long as the hinges are mounted exactly plumb. The gate will be a bit heavier to open as it is pushed "uphill", and will want to close quickly as it is going "downhill". The benefits of keeping the interior wall consistent with the rest of the structure usually outweigh the slight difficulty with opening and closing the gate.
