Who We Are StableWise is a labor of love for Heather and Bobby Beaulieu, who own and operate a horse facility located in Duvall, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S.A. Heather has been riding for over 30 years. She is a professional show judge, and, as a rider, she won the USDF National Championships in '94 for her class. She is a project manager at a major construction company in Washington state and has had over 20 years experience in the construction industry. Bobby has been a barn builder for over 11 years, and has been in the construction industry for over 17 years. He is a general contractor by license, but the only projects he takes on are horse related. He made that choice after realizing that there was a serious lack of contractors who knew that horse related construction requires a different approach then conventional construction - a more careful approach. In 1999, Bobby began drafting plans of the barns that he had been building for people, using his own designs which had proven to be functional, safe, and beautiful to look at. StableWise was started after Heather & Bobby found themselves performing consultations for people in the local area who could not find anybody that they were comfortable with to help them plan their horse facility, holding the horse's safety and well being as the #1 project priority. After awhile, the idea developed to build a website which would contain as much information as possible about safe, efficient horse property planning, design, construction, and maintenance. This information is gleaned from their own knowledge and experience, along with other sources which have proven to be knowledgeable in the field of horse related construction. The site contains no information about breeds, riding disciplines, or any other non-construction related items. In this way, it is the goal of StableWise to be the web's most comprehensive source for information regarding horse farm planning. Questions?
