By clicking on "county home pages" when you arrive, you can find your counties website immediately, which enables you to access the above information without having to search the entire web. This is a great resource.
A provider of direct access to your own particular states agricultural extension agency. These are located throughout the country to provide the general public with specific state and county information regarding local agricultural regulations, manure management resources, land and pasture management information and more. When you arrive, click on your states image, and then choose that states cooperative extension. This is a large website, so take the time to search for what you need. The effort will be worth it.

ROOFS AND RAILS *
by Gavin Ehringer 

A full featured farm planning book that has a more "western" angle on barn design and farm management.

 

FENCES FOR PASTURE AND GARDEN *
by Gail Damerow

This book contains practical, user friendly information about numerous different fencing styles and methods, from standard wood post and rail through all styles of electric and temporary fencing. Very handy.

 

THE EQUINE ARENA HANDBOOK:
Developing a User Friendly Facility

Written from a soil scientists perspective, reading this book is a very good idea before construction starts, and it is extremely useful even after the arena is complete.
